How Does Capillary Concrete™ Work for Bunker Construction?

  • Step 1: Demolition & Repairs

    Existing bunker sand is removed or washed clean. Existing drainage pipe is inspected to determine if repairs are needed.

  • Step 2: Prepare for Installation

    After drainage repairs are completed, the bunker is cleaned out, and edges prepared for installation of Capillary Concrete™.

  • Step 3: Product Delivery

    Capillary Concrete™ is delivered from a local plant, made of local aggregates and a proprietary polymer-based admixture.

  • Step 4: Installation

    Our specialized golf course bunker construction and sand bunker renovation crew transport the Capillary Concrete™ wet mix to the bunkers for installation. The mix is leveled at 2” and lightly rolled on the bunker surface.

  • Step 5: Curing & Finishing

    Capillary Concrete™ is ready in only 24 hours, at which time sand and edge options are installed to complete the bunker renovation.
