YARMOUTH, MA — Turco Golf is proud to announce the ongoing advancements in the renovation of the Bayberry Hills Links Course in Yarmouth, Massachusetts. With the collaboration of the Town of Yarmouth and Gardner + Gerrish Landscape Architects, the project continues to progress smoothly, with several key developments enhancing the course’s functionality and aesthetic appeal.
In a significant move to enhance the course’s playability and maintenance, the new bunkers are being constructed with Capillary Concrete bunker liners. This innovative technology ensures optimal drainage, durability, and playability, marking a notable upgrade in the course’s design. Turco Golf, recognized as an experienced and guaranteed installer of Capillary Concrete bunkers, is leveraging its expertise to incorporate these state-of-the-art liners, setting a new standard for golf course construction.
The project’s scope, diligently overseen by Scott Miller, Vice President of the Northeast Division, along with Turco Golf’s on-site superintendents, includes the meticulous shaping of bunkers and construction of new tees, alongside a comprehensive bunker renovation, irrigation system replacement, and the installation of advanced subsurface drainage systems. The redesign also aims to improve aesthetics and navigation by realigning cart paths.
With a projected completion timeline of four months, the Bayberry Hills Links Course renovation is set to redefine the golfing landscape, offering an enhanced experience that marries tradition with contemporary innovation.
