Nanuet High School

NANUET, NEW YORK

  • “After nearly two decades since the last bond referendum, Nanuet Union Free School District passed a $59 Million bond to improve classrooms and facilities district-wide. The bond included several improvements to outdoor facilities including the High School track, tennis courts, multi-purpose field, and the creation of an outdoor learning commons.

The High School tennis courts have been resurfaced and outfitted with new nets and fences to better serve students and the community. The newly resurfaced High School Track has been expanded to eight lanes, which would allow the school to host sectional and championship events. The multi-sport field which serves the football, field hockey, boys and girls lacrosse, and soccer teams has been changed to synthetic turf; allowing the district to play more games and save money on maintenance. New bleachers, stadium lighting, ADA upgrades, and modern safety features have been installed to enhance the overall athletic complex. These improvements make Nanuet a more desirable place to live, work and raise a family.” — KSQ Design
